Matheus Ortega: back again in San Patrignano

After the intense days we spent together at WeFree Day 2011, Matheus is back in SanPatrignano to shot a documentary on the importance of the relationship between human beings and nature, highlighting the ties established among the animals and the guys during the community programme. Experiencing a full immersion in the stables and the dog breading in San Patrignano with the guys who are taking care of the hourses and dogs, we could also spend some quality time with Matheus, strengthening our friendship, born thanks to WeFree. What we do

Shows

Stories, songs, emotions. Serious scientific information on drugs and their effects.

San Patrignano has two travelling theater presentations: Ragazzi Permale and Fughe da fermi.
Both of them are starring young people of the Community who have left drugs behind and who want to tell their personal stories.

Debates

Every year, thousands of people visit San Patrignano. The majority are school children on class trips, but there are also visits from Italian and foreign associations. They are accompanied by people from the WeFree project who organize debates about drugs, social disease and other issues: talk to know better each other and exchange ideas.

WeFree Day

WeFree Day is our moment! Each year all of us at San Patrignano work together and organize this event where people come from all over the world to talk about drugs, social exclusion and other issues important to young people. Around 2000 students from all over Italy come as well, but we do much more than just talk! We have fun, we participate in theatrical shows, we get to know each other. It depends on us, and we want to show that a different world is possible.
